Medyo matagal rin akong nawala sa eksena dito sa adamsonian.com at nagulat ako sa aking inabutang maaanghang na palitan ng diskuyon at kuro-kuro. Nakakatuwa. Nakakalungkot. Pero dapat may natututo.

Ano ba talaga ang issue? Ang lumang Kronikel o ang bago? Ang article na PBB o ang pangit na layout? Si tikgirl, Gervic, The onlooker o si Ms. Paredes? Baka naman si Invader Zim at ang animo’y nawawalang magandang camera na kronikel? Sa totoo lang, wala sa nabanggit ang issue. Ang totoong issue ay ang kalagayan ng Adamsonian noon, ngayon at ang magiging kalagayan nila sa hinaharap.
TFI o Tuition Increase. Tama si onlooker. Lumang issue. Pero taon-taon nandiyan pa rin. Kung hindi ako nagkakamali, may panahong napigilan ng Kronikel sa tulong na rin ng AUSG at mga estudiyante and pagtaas ng matrikula. History repeats itself. Nagawa noon, magagawa rin ngayon. Siguro’y kailangan lang mag eksperimento para muling mapigilan ang pagtaas ng matrikula.
“Unexperienced writers and editors”. Sa tingin ko dapat ibasura na muna natin ang ideyang ito. As long as ang bawat isa ay handang matuto walang magiging problema diyan.
“Old Kron VS New Kron”. Parang balita lang iyan. There’s no such thing as good news or bad news ergo walang bago at lumang Kron. Iisang dugo lang tayo pero may iba’t-ibang ideya. Subukan nating pag-isa-isahin at itama ang pagkakamali ng bawat isa.
Para sa mga taong involved sa diskusyon dito. Relax lang. Set tayo ng date tapos kita-kita tayo para mas maganda. Para mawala angas nating lahat. O kaya gumawa tayo ng monthly meeting sa luneta para mapagusapan natin ang mga plano para mas mapaganda ang Kronikel. Para sa mga interesado, email niyo ako.

August 7, 2008: The Isla ballroom of the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel was filled with software developers and engineers to join Globe telecom, Inc. and its technological partners in launching of Globe Labs. The convention featured the formal openning of the Globe SMS/MMS API (application programming interface) to the opensource trend providing developers the capacity to program mobile based application that uses SMS/MMS without the dilemma of hardware interfacing. Now, instead of using your GSM module or your handset togeher with the physical coupling and the AT commands that it demands, you only need a few commands and parameters embedded on your source code to send SMS/MMS or even to receive SMS and utilize its coding as a control command for your software application.
However, It is only offered to the developers who are to join the Globe Labs Challenge. (For more information about the Globe Labs Challenge please visit www.globelabs.com.ph)
After the application demo of PinoyJUG and PhRUG where they have presented how we can use the Globe API to control online applications, the Globe Labs technological partners introduced their development tools for mobile applications - Netbeans for Sun microsystems, Microsoft studio mobile tools SDK for microsoft, Adobe flash lite and Adobe Device Central for Adobe and the use of widget for forum.nokia. They have also provided demonstrations on how easy it is to shift into the mobile application development using these softwares.
The event were enjoyed by participants from Adamson University IT, Compsci and ECE society.

I just WISH the Professors of Adamson University would ATTEND their classes REGULARLY…
Not all the students have a good schedule… Like in my case, mas mahaba vacant ko kesa sa klase ko… 7am-8pm ang klase ko pag MWF. Kaya masama loob ko pag wala prof ko… They can’t blame us, students of AdU, kung tamadin na din kaming pumasok… There was one time nga, pumasok ako 7am.. I thought my 2nd class would be 8am but i was wrong… 7pm pala! San ka pa db? Lahat ng prof ko sinasabi, “Next meeting na lang tayo…” hAh?! 1st class ko 7am, 2nd class ko 7pm? Hahaha!
I have to admit that there are times (lalo na ngayon) na gusto ko din na wala na lang talagang klase… Sayang lang effort ng mga studyante eh…
Sana lang ho, di agad sila nagagalit or nangdro2p ng studyante… Alamin muna nila rason ng studyante before sila magalit… Coz not all the students of AdU are lazy kaya di sila pumapasok/nakakapasok…
Di ko naman nilalahat lahat ng Prof… There are Professors din naman na bukod sa lagi ng present, sorbrang galing pa magturo… Buti na lang nandyan pa sila… Maraming SALAMAT po…

What the F…! We lose again!!!
Know what??? Those players should NOT play anymore! Grrr! Kakahiya lang talaga… Before, nagpapasalamat na tau sa NU and sa UP coz in a way, may tinatalo pa tayo…. Ngayon, tinatalo na tayo ng UP! Next time, tatalunin na din tayo ng NU! Lagi na lang ba taung talunan??? Dapat di na tayo naglalaro db? everytime na may laban, wag ng pumunta.. Considered talo na agad… Grabe kasi… I was supporting them nung una… Thought they would be good this season. Mali pala ako…
Dunno what’s the problem with our players eh… Wala sa Coach ang prob eh.. I believe, Coach Austria is great! ang yayabang lang talaga ng players naten…! Una porma bago gawa.. Hay… Can’t explain how mad i am now… Pardon me for the word but nata-T*NGA-han talaga ako sa kanila…
Hindi man lang ba sila nag-pra2ctice??? Masyado silang kampante. Kala nila porket UP or NU kalaban nila, lagi silang mananalo??? Especially Agustin! I don’t like that guy.. I don’t know him personally but he seems mayabang eh. Yung mga kilos nya, irritating…
Oh well… Talo na eh. We can’t do anything about it… All we can do is to pray for them for their next game… Sana manalo na….

i never knew that we have a site like this… Not until i searched Sir Julius Estampador’s name sa Google! Sigh…
Before, i was looking for an adamson site where i could post blogs and say whatever i want to say. I want to write about my complaints! (hehe! kaya ngayon, yari kaung lahat! joke lang.)
There are lots of good things naman that happened to me in AdU eh… Like meeting trustworthy friends, having fun inside the classroom, learning important things from my professors, etc…
I know Adamson University is not as perfect as we think it is but one thing i can say.,,
Adamson University made me a better person..

 Experts have unearthed a stash of explicit pornographic material belonging to German author Franz Kafka.
The erotic material has been ignored by scholars anxious to preserve the writer’s image.
James Hawes, an academic and Kafka expert came across the material in copies of Kafka’s journals in the British Library in London and the Bodleian in Oxford.
Hawes said that the author’s stash shows him as more human than a popular quasi-saintly writer.
“These are not naughty postcards from the beach. They are undoubtedly porn, pure and simple. Some of it is quite dark. It’s quite unpleasant,” Times Online quoted Hawes, as saying.
“Academics have pretended it did not exist. The Kafka industry doesn’t want to know such things about its idol.
“Of the world’s authors, only Shakespeare generates more PhDs, more biographies, more coffee table books. Everything Kafka wrote, every postcard he ever sent, every page of his diary is regarded as a potential Ark of the Covenant. Yet no one has ever shown his readers Kafka’s porn,” he added.
