Adamson Chronicle, October 1994
Someone named Victorino Cruz emailed me last night. He was also an editor of the Adamson Chronicle, he said, but that was way back in the 1960s. So I told him he was lucky; he belonged to that distant era we now only could talk in the context of legend. I belonged to a far more recent, much more jaded generation, which thrived in the mid-1990s, and which I personally hold responsible for the eventual death of the paper.
One of the reasons why this site is online is because I’ve been intending to post selected pages or memorable articles from old issues of the paper, preferably those that are really, really old. If anyone here still has them — issues that came out as far back as the 1940s to the 1980s — will you please scan them and post them here? Or better, please have them scanned then email them to me and I’ll post them, with due credit, of course.
